The exhibition, realised on behalf of the Italian Space Agency and Telespazio, uses satellite images of the great sea and the lands bordering it to recount the history, beauty, peoples and myths of this ‘liquid continent’, but also the pitfalls and contrasts that threaten it today.
‘Mediterranea, Visions of an Ancient and Complex Sea’, translated into English, Arabic and French, has just begun a tour of various Mediterranean countries, including Croatia, Lebanon, Algeria, Spain and Turkey, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The Med Or foundation, the Italian Space Agency, the European Space Agency and Telespazio also contributed to the touring initiative.
